Client Recognition
In 2003, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center won the prestigious Nicholas E. Davies Electronic Health Record (EHR) Recognition Program Award of Excellence. This honor is particularly notable, as CCHMC is the first pediatric hospital in the country to win the award. In the words of Asif Ahmad, chair of the Davies Organizational Award Task Force, "The task force feels that the implementation of computer-based patient record systems by Cincinnati Children’s embodies all of the principles of the Nicholas E. Davies Award, including management, functionality, technology and impact."

The Computer-Based Record Institute (CPRI), established the Davies Recognition Program in 1994 to recognize exemplary implementations of electronic health records. The program is now managed under the auspices of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS.)

Congratulations, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center! It has been a privilege to serve as one of your partners in this exemplary and highly successful project.
