Recent Engagements

Developed an OAS/Gold and NetAccess based Clinical Documentation and Order Entry system at a major children’s hospital and research facility in the Midwest. This project spanned Physician Order Entry and Advanced Nursing Applications, including assessments, vital signs and I&O, interdisciplinary care planning and Med/IV charting. The system, known as ICIS (Integrating Computer Information System), is live house-wide on all applications. Due to the measurable success of this implementation, the hospital was named the 2003 winner of the prestigious Nicholas E. Davies EMR Recognition Program Award of Excellence.

Developed a customized Patient Documentation System for physicians and ancillary staff at a large regional hospital in the Southeast. The project utilizes the COR Nursing Assessment functionality to create clinical documentation for the permanent patient chart.

Upgraded an INVISION® 22.0 site to INVISION® 24.0 for a hospital which is an internationally recognized leader in women’s health in Pittsburgh, PA.

Served on the Executive Advisory Board of HealthCast, Inc., based in Boise, ID. In this role, I provided guidance and INVISION® technical support in their development of internet-enabling integration solutions for Siemens INVISION® clients.
